Anxiety in Children Part V

Engagement Description

This final segment of the series helps put mindfulness based strategies into action to help children learn how to self-soothe. Helping young people move from their heads where anxiety germinates, into their bodies, where peace flourishes, is the key to prevention and intervention. Join in with the faculty as they put the concepts from this series into practice.

Learning Objectives

  1. Appreciate that the core antidote to anxiety is peace.
  2. Understand mindfulness from the perspective of a child.
  3. Begin to consider the practical application of generating environments conducive to peace.
