When to Confer with the Principal

Engagement Details

As a new or even experienced teacher, it's not always clear what issues to bring to your school administrator and which to handle on your own. You don't want to be a bother but nor do you want to risk them being displeased with you. This course provides a framework for making such a decision.

  1. Become more efficient at understanding factors that influence the decision of whether to refer to administration
  2. Learn strategies that enhance the possibility of resolution when referring to administration
  3. Become more aware of personal feelings or beliefs that may influence the decision-making process
